Files are automatically deleted from the server 3 days after they are ready. Save them to your computer before then. Your local copies are not deleted.
Every session — after setup
Already installed and connected? You do not need to reinstall Python or QLM, or create a new connection code.
- Open QLM on your computer. Double-click the Desktop shortcut: QLM Video Runner.command on Mac, or QLM Video Runner on Windows. If QLM is already running, use the existing window.
- Keep the QLM window open. You can minimise it; no commands are needed. Keep your computer awake, connected to the internet, and your laptop lid open while downloads run.
- Download from the website. Open Video Downloader, check the connection indicator, then paste your links and choose Video, Clip or Audio. If no computer is connected, check that QLM is still open and online.
- Save your files before finishing. When a file is ready, click Download. Wait for all QLM tasks and browser downloads to finish before closing QLM or putting your computer to sleep.
After restarting your computer: open the QLM Desktop shortcut again. If a task was interrupted, use Try again once QLM is connected.
Save your files within 3 days. Files are automatically deleted from the server 3 days after they are ready. Copies already saved on your computer are not affected.
Use “Stop and delete” to cancel a task; cancel a browser file transfer in your browser’s downloads list. Only download content you are authorised to use.
